ANSWER
In this class, I found the topic of the endocrine system to be the most interesting one. It was intriguing to learn that hormones act as chemical messengers secreted to the bloodstream to act on a tissue or organ in another part of the body. Additionally, I learned that although they reach all body parts, only target tissue and cells with compatible receptors are capable of responding. Furthermore, the human body contains numerous hormones with varying functions. In this class, I was able to appreciate the role that hormones play in our bodies.
