The simulation was a great learning experience for me. I did not experience any challenges with level 1 of the simulation but as I progressed to level 2 and level 3, it was challenging and I took time. The simulation enabled me to appreciate the intricate details involved in nurse leadership specifically in assigning responsibilities to nurses, delegating tasks to nurse assistants, and helping nurses prioritize their caseload based on each patient’s acuity level. I initially felt challenged and incapable, but as I progressed in the simulation, I found the tasks to be manageable.
