The advanced nurse role may require that education be developed or the need to implement a new policy via a presentation that impacts multiple disciplines and is patient-centered. In this assignment, you will illustrate the integration of communication that facilitates a partnership approach to quality care delivery. You will illustrate collaborative interactions in a professional manner using appropriate communication and presentation skills.
Assignment Instructions
Advanced nursing practice demonstrates leadership with the ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships. You will prepare an (audio-narrated) 8- to 12-slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. You will focus on integrating communication strategies and techniques that support and improve the efficacy of a partnership approach to quality care delivery. Further addressed are relationship building for the interdisciplinary team and ethical considerations in communication. Below are the slide titles to use. Demonstrate content from your text and investigate other sources to develop your presentation.
- Title slide: Title of presentation, your name, course, etc.
- Introduction: Introduction to the content being presented.
- Quality Care Delivery Defined: Define quality care. Address two advanced-level AACN Essentials, including an appropriate subtopic.
- Quality Care Delivery Relationships: Provide two examples of what quality care is. Relate quality care to collaboration and the integration of health policy/standards. Relate to your new role.

Assignment Requirements:
- Minimal slide requirement is 8–12 slides of content. This does not include the title or reference slides. Some required topics may have more than one slide.
