- Gun control
For the initial post, address the following:
- State your position on one of these issues – are you for, against, or neutral? Explain why. Avoid vagueness or ambiguity in your response. Make your position very clear.
- Examine how you have formed that opinion.
- How well do you think you know the facts?
- Do you know and understand statistical information that applies to the issue?

ANSWER:
Among the listed choices, I will discuss my opinion on gun control and how I developed it. I have a particular interest in gun control and firmly stand in favor of it. With stricter gun control, we can reduce the prevalence of homicides and domestic terrorism in the country. My opinion is influenced by prior knowledge of the issue. I have researched the issue on several occasions and consulted with the Federal Bureau of Investigations’ data. Herein, I acquired statistical information on the prevalence of gun-related suicides, homicides, and domestic terrorism. Also, it provides a detailed comparison of state-level prevalence of the same.
