Analysis of Current Curriculum: Using the template provided as a guide, the student will complete and submit an analysis of the curriculum currently in use at his or her site of employment. The district focuses on offering high-quality education with a view of nurturing creative and critical thinkers. The district estimates that by the time learners are completing the education system, they will contribute to the development of solutions for the problems affecting the society (School District of Philadelphia par 3). The district’s mission impacts curriculum development by guiding the inclusion and exclusion of activities based on their impacts on the learners. In that case, the mission has caused curriculum developers only to include activities that will improve the social and intellectual potential of learners and nurture them to become lifelong learners.
