ANSWER

The New Deal was created at a time of great economic crises- the Great Depression. It was developed to address economic hardships experienced at the time and promote economic recovery across the country. Therefore, it comprises a lot of programs designed to increase government expenditure, foster the development of infrastructure, and create employment.
