ANSWER:
The data set that I will discuss the average price (in US dollars) of gasoline. The data set spans 20 years from 2000 to 2020 and includes the average gasoline price for each month. The data set shows no apparent trend as gasoline’s price kept increasing and decreasing for each month. However, I was able to observe key price ranges within specific time frames. I noticed that gasoline’s price was generally under $2 per gallon for most of the months from 2000 to 2005. In 2005, gasoline prices for most of the months were between $2-4 per gallon.
